श्री माता वैष्णो देवी यात्रा के दौरान श्रद्धालुओं की सुरक्षा, सुचारु यात्रा प्रबंधन तथा भीड़ नियंत्रण के लिए RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) कार्ड जारी किया जाता है। प्रत्येक श्रद्धालु को यात्रा प्रारम्भ करने से पहले RFID कार्ड प्राप्त करना आवश्यक है।
RFID कार्ड के माध्यम से श्रद्धालुओं की यात्रा की निगरानी, सुरक्षा तथा विभिन्न यात्रा मार्गों पर उनकी आवाजाही का रिकॉर्ड रखा जाता है। यह व्यवस्था यात्रा को अधिक सुरक्षित और व्यवस्थित बनाती है।

श्री माता वैष्णो देवी यात्रा प्रारम्भ करने से पहले प्रत्येक श्रद्धालु को निर्धारित RFID Registration Counter पर जाकर अपना RFID कार्ड प्राप्त करना आवश्यक होता है। वर्तमान में RFID कार्ड की ऑनलाइन सुविधा उपलब्ध नहीं है।
श्रद्धालु को अपने साथ वैध सरकारी फोटो पहचान पत्र (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving Licence आदि) लेकर जाना होता है। पहचान सत्यापन के बाद RFID कार्ड जारी किया जाता है, जिसे यात्रा के दौरान अपने पास रखना अनिवार्य है।
